As one of the main centres for subacqua activities in Milano, Quanta diving  school organises Scuba Diving courses making use of the PADI* learning system. These courses constitute the first step in order to enter the subacquea and diving world; they enable trainees to be able to breathe for the first time under water and experience the feeling of weightlessness, with the security and presence of professional instructors.

The minimum age to experience Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years old. Before accessing the pool diving the trainees watch a video program which shows what to expect during the diving. The Discover Scuba Diving course is held in the swimming pool up to a maximum depth of 6 mt; there is the direct supervision of an instructor for every 8 participants but Quantadiving always guarantees a 4 to 1 ratio between pupil and instructor or 2 to 1.

Every new scuba diver will be provided with :

  • a scuba tank
  • gav with a low pressure inflating system
  • air supply valve
  • scuba diving gauge.

On completion of the Discover Scuba Diving programme, trainees can follow more advanced  training courses in order to be able to go diving autonomously in the open sea.

Scuba Diving courses take place every Wednesday from 20.00 to 22.30

In addition to scuba diving courses, Quanta diving organises training courses every three months in Emergency First Response Primary Care (RCP) and Secondary Care (first aid) in accordance with art. 15 of Leg. decree of 19 September 1994 n. 626.
